Aquarium Plans

Once you have kept Tropical fish for a few years you will start to get ‘hooked” in the worse way and before you know it that “off the shelf” commercial Aquarium that you made you so proud to bring home just a couple of years ago is a “little modest” and you will be making grander plans to design and build a custom made Aquarium for pride of place in your Home.

I am a trained Engineer and my father was a House Builder so I am interested in just about any construction project no matter how humble from Urban Scale Architecture Projects to a simple Bird Bath. In fact in previous posts I have mentioned making plans for  items as small as Bird House Plans and Dog House Plans – In this post I am going to tell you about a version or rather a modification of our Design Software that you might find useful if your planning or designing and building a new Aquarium.

Its called the “Virtual Aquarium Designer” and its part game and part 3D design tool perfect for making 3D Aquarium Plans.

Of course you could still use our 2D Floorplan Software if you want a more traditional 2D CAD style outcome with dimensions annotations etc. The 3D version of the Software is more about answering the question “what is it going to look like” rather than produce a CAD drawing.  The 2D version of our Floor Plan Software is available here – Floor Plans Software.

Aquarium Planner Software

As usual we have two versions of the Software. The first is free to download and use but has rather limited functionality, the designs you can explore in the free version as somewhat “cookie cutter” and a paid version that provides full functionality to build just about any Aquarium Plans you can think of including:

Aquarium Canopy Plans, Aquarium Floor Plan, Aquarium Stand Plans, Aquarium Sump Plans, Aquarium Tank Plans.
