Fibre Cement Roofing Sheets

Our latest update to the Materials Library for the Virtual Decorator Software are Cement Fibre Roofing Sheets.

Fibre cement building material composites are manufactured from  a mixture of Portland cement, silica, water and fibrous wood pulp which has been treated using the “ Hatschek process”.

The Hatschek process was initially developed for the production of asbestos building product composites, which are now banned in most countries due to the asbestos content, this process is now used for the manufacture of non-asbestos, cellulose fibre reinforced cement composites.

More information Fibre Cement Roofing Sheets including how to select and fix them is available here.
