Green House Plans

The humble Green House may go by many different names around the World, Green House, Glass House, or even Hot House but its primary purpose is pretty much the same where ever you find them – Basically it is special purpose building where plants, vegetables and flowers  are grown under “climate controlled conditions”.

Typically a greenhouse is built with a glass  ( or nowadays transparent plastic ) roof and walls and when the sun shines on the glass the inside of the building heats up faster than heat can escape the structure.

Glass houses can range in size from the size of a small backyard shed to massive structures designed to commercial growers.

If your going to build a green house in some ways you can approach it like a small home design project, after all many of the elements involved in planning and green house design are common to home design – ie floor, walls, doors, roof etc.
